They share most of the features, style, and high-performance potential of their more expensive counterparts, including the exclusive Tri-Ad lock, blade configurations, and steel thickness, but have been made from more affordable materials. For example, instead of costly G-10, the handles of the AD-10 Lite have been made from Glass Filled Nylon, and the blades are constructed from AUS 10A Stainless Steel, rather than the S35VN used in previous versions. In doing this Cold Steel have brought a popular favourite into a more accessible price-point. This model features a satin finished 4 inch tanto blade. The AD-10 Lite fits snugly in the hand due to its precise contouring and integral finger guard. The reliable Tri-Ad Lock offers unrivaled protection, shock resistane and durability.
